About Whaku Salt

Whaku Salt, LLC is a small, family-owned and operated business located in both the beautiful town of Kāne'ohe, O'ahu and the sunny city of Imperial Beach, California. Whaku Salt began it's early years as an unbranded gift given to friends and family during the holidays by the Aku-Whitfield family. The family was encouraged to share their special blend with people outside of their close circle, so, in 2023, the Aku-Whitfield family made the decision to brand their blend as Whaku Salt and started handing out samples.

Whaku Salt consists of Hawaiian sea salt and other fresh, organic ingredients to create a special blend that is perfect for flavoring meats, chicken, fish and vegetables. The dish options are endless. It is unlike any other salt and is the perfect addition to your every day cooking. A little goes a long way, so much so, a 4 oz. glass salt shaker can easily last an every day cooker up to 6 months.
